COVID-19 Testing at Tristan Medical

At Tristan Medical we are taking measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We have extensive cleaning procedures in place and are limiting patients in our waiting rooms. We ask that all patients come alone to their appointments if possible.

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (listed below) or have been exposed to a person with confirmed COVID-19, please call the office to be triaged before you enter the building.

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Tristan Medical is offering COVID-19 PCR testing (nasal swab) to detect if you have an active COVID-19 infection. Results for this test are typically available in 5-14 days depending on commercial lab volumes.

We do not perform rapid testing at this time.

COVID-19 testing is generally covered by your insurance provider if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. If you would like to be tested for travel or work purposes, there will be an out-of-pocket expense. For any questions about coverage, we recommend reaching out to your insurance carrier.

For all COVID-19 testing, please contact our office to schedule a telehealth visit. Once the telehealth visit is completed, we will come out to your vehicle to perform the test. We will call you as soon as the results are available.
